The Conference house on the shore of Black Sea (region of Big Yalta) is a short way from Simferopol, capital of the Crimea, located in the south part of Ukraine. Big Yalta is situated at the shore of a clear sea with a picturesque nature and pleasant climate with temperature of 20-25 C. Conference buses from Simferopol to Yalta will meet the participants at Railway Station and Airport Simferopol.

The accommodation will be in shared rooms, 2 or 3 persons per room (all rooms with bathrooms). A social programme for participants is foreseen (welcome party, cheese & wine party, banquet etc).

How to rich

 

ICPLC 2005 will be held in Alushta, district of Big Yalta located in 40 km from Simferopol in International center Junost'
Conference palace - International center Junost' located near central park of Alushta, address 20/2 Perekopskaja.str. conference bus will be meet every registrated participants  on square near RailWay station in Simferopol or airport Simferopol.

Any case original sity bus from Rail Way station of Simferopol come to Alushta every 20 min. Simple way to Conference palace from bus station in Alushta is the straigh road from bus station across center of Alushta to
central park (Spartak-stadium). There is near 15 min by walk.

You may reach Simferopol by airplane from several western airports on Sunday, September, 25th or 27th and then by Conference bus to Yalta. You may also reach Simferopol by
airplane via Kiev-Borispil.
Trains from several towns stop at Simferopol railway station where Conference buses will be waiting for you.
There are several planes directly to Simferopol from
Hannower and back Saturday, only (UF 603 - UF 604),
Frankfurt (PS 408 - 409) Thursday, saturday Koeln (UF 607 - 608), Saturday Tell Aviv (VV267 - 268) Wensday  and Stambul (TK 1463) Saturday and (TK1461) Wensday and Sunday.
Through Kyyv-Borispil to Simferepol from Paris (AF2652), Warsawa (LO751 and VV208), New York (VV132), Prag (OK916) and other european capitals.

NATO Advanced Workshop on Physics of Laser Crystals,
(ICPLC 2002), co-organizers J.-C. Krupa and N. Kulagin, was held in Kharkov- Stary Saltov, Ukraine at August, 26 - September, 2, 2002.

More than 85 reports of scientists from 16 countries were presented during the Conference.

ARW PLC was supported by Optical Society of America, Scientific Technology Center of Ukraine and others sponsors.

Selected papers were published in NATO Science Series of Kluwer Academic Publishers title “Physics of Laser Crystals”, Eds. J.-C. Krupa and N. Kulagin, Brussels, 2003.
